Dear Nick

Congratulations on the O.C. website! What a fantastic way of keeping in touch with old mates (and teachers!?). I always knew that your talents were wasted trying to teach boys like me music and maths.(quote from a certain master.."Oh God Rudders, solid bone from the neck up, but at least old man Rudling's got a boat')

After 25 years in the new car business in North London, I decided that enough was enough, and sold out earlier in the year. I now have weekends and bank holidays to spend with my wife and three teenage children, something I've never had the chance to do in all my working years! It would seem that my wife viewed this new lifestyle of mine from a different angle, and opened a fancy dress shop in Winchmore Hill so she could go out to work at weekends and leave me with a long list of tasks to do. I even know how to hang washing on the line. It's not all bad though the girls on the tills at Potters Bar Tescos are very nice! perhaps I should go back to working Saturdays after all! (should any OC's want to see what I look like now, I can be viewed dressed as a Western Mississippi Gambler on Clare's website www.abcost.com ... fame at last!)

Please put my e-mail address in the directory. I look forward to hearing from friends old and new.

Kind regards

Mark Rudling (69-72)

PS -  I'm amazed that old Nigel d'Arcy Colley (68-73 'ish) hasn't got an e-mail address he was always into computers, lazer guns and things like that. Perhaps those Martians he claimed to see at night really did come back and abduct him. Nigel .... if you are out there somewhere.... please e-mail me back!
