I did receive your two letters last year informing me about the O.C. get together. What a great idea of yours. I had only just returned from a 6 months visit to Brazil on 3rd July 1999, and because my plans were unsure I couldn't confirm my attendance. As it happened I returned to Brazil, Rio De Janeiro, on 3rd February 2000; but couldn't make the annual dinner as I was bogged down with letting the flat and making arrangements for another long spell abroad. My permanent address is still at Bournemouth though. I'm writing to you from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA; I'm here for another 5 months and then back to Brazil. I probably drive past Clayesmore about once a year and in the past 10 years went to 2 OC meetings, once with Graham Stuart (we spent the whole afternoon in the Talbot getting drunk with two OCs who were 5 years younger, that's all that turned up!) and another occasion with Martin Bayne following a chance meeting in a Soton pub (Time also spent in The Talbot). I would have liked to have been at the dinner, as I'm sure you all had a good time. I'm planning to go to Orlando on May 12th for three days. Do you have Steve Furness' tel / address. I doubt we'll meet up but can always have a chat on the phone. I would also like to know how you and the lads are getting along. Bye for now
