OC Deaths 

Allan , Ian   (45 - 49) has died. .He was in Public Relations and lived in Dorking, Surrey .

Assheton-Salton, Ivor Logan (38 - 40) died on Feb 10th, 2001 . (See letters section.)

Courtney-Lewis , Peter George (40 - 43) died of cancer in 1994 in Majorca at the age of 67.  His Sister Helen Courtney-Lewis (email hclspain@arrakis.es) would be pleased to hear from any of his contemporaries.

Fisher, Kenneth J. (30 - 38) died on Christmas Eve, 2000. He was a retired Auditor and Divisional Sales Executive with the Plessey Company.  He was a "world traveller" and was the hooker in Clayesmore's unbeaten 1937 Rugby XV.

Gilmour, Alan (43 - 46) died on 18th July 2001 .  He was an Author and former Director of the NSPCC and in recent years he was Deputy Chairman of Clayesmore School Council and Chairman of Clayesmore School Centenary 1996. See Obituaries

Howell , Frederick Charles (36 - 38) died in May 1998.

Howse, Tony (37 - 40) died on 29th August 2000 .  He had lived for some years in South Africa and was until 1993 a  Publications Editor.  He was disabled as a result of the attentions of the Japanese in WW2 and yet despite this he arrived in a wheelchair to hear the Clayesmore Preparatory School Choir at a concert in Durban in August 1998. Kemp-Gee, Timothy (66 - 69 died on the 26th December 1996 in Brighton .

Oakes, Hilary Benjamin (24 - 30) died in Eastbourne on the 22nd December 2000 aged about 93.

Phillips , Gerald (39 - 44) has died in the Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport .  He was a Solicitor and former Treasurer of the OC Society and the Son of an OC.
