Dear Editor,
I have just found the web site, and am spending a little time exploring.
I was at Clayesmore from Sept 61 till July 66. I was in the there with people
like I P Brookes the Burns brothers M Gregory . Chris Heseletine and a Thai
called Surasidsoomsamook we called him sid for short. I joined the CCF and as a
result developed an interest in flying. there were 3 of us I believe who went
into aviation Lorri Burns and Dave Elliott to the Navy and I went to Hamble CAT
from 67-69. I joined BEA in 1969 and have been with BEA/British Airways ever
since. I am now a senior Captain on the 747-400 and have just about a year to go
till I retire. I gather Lorri Burns is a Captain with British Midland
International.
I married in 1972 ( C. Heseltine, best man) and have one daughter (28 years) I
look forward to any news of OC's from the 60's. I did meet up with Dave Asher
and one of the Smith brothers (also early '60's) we were all members of the
Godalming squash club in the early '80s
