Ives, Nigel (72 - 77) is a Ship's Accountant with P&O. He lives in Hailsham, East Sussex.
Ingham, Bruce (58 - 62) famous at school for learning Thai from C Dhanasobhon(60-63) has continued in that vein ever since. Has spent most of his career at the School of Oriental Studies where he is now a Reader in Arabic Linguistic studies. Also has spells as a seaman with the RNXS and as Director of the Arabic Teaching Centre Alexandria in Egypt. He has just completed an English-Lakota (Sioux) Dictionary which will soon be in the book stores. He occasionally meets TJ Moldung(56-62) who lives in Norway 'by design' and HG Thompson(59-64) who lives in Putney 'by accident'. He still lives with his Iranian wife in a very smart flat in Chelsea
John, Gareth (90 - 93) has obtained a BSc in behavioural sciences and an MBA. He has been travelling for almost a year in India and Malaysia.
Johnston, Christopher (58 - 60) despite achieving no qualifications he is one of our most successful business men. He started, built and sold one insurance company in the l970s has started and built up another Personal Assurance company which is now quoted on the stock exchange. Has been married 27 years and has three grown up children.
Jones, Kevin (81 - 85) lives in Surrey where he is a full time Mortgage Broker. He has done a variety of jobs including hospital porter, bag packing at Tescos, turkey plucking, estate agency and 4 - 5 years as lead Singer on cruise liners until he ran out of dancers. Is threatening to take up singing again but in the meantime would like to get in touch with anyone from his year.
Jullens, Charles (73 - 75) is a Local Government Officer with the Solicitors Department of Somerset County Council. His life is devoted to two young children and when time permits, allotment gardening, cycling, walking and squash.
Kent, Peter A. J. (73 - 76) has travelled, worked and lived all over the World. On leaving Clayesmore he trained for several years in the Catering Business but now builds speck homes on the waters edge in the Republic of Panama. Owns part of a 5 star floating marina plus a cattle ranch (BSE and foot and mouth free) to fulfil a dream of designing and building a golf course.
Khara, Michelle (92 - 97) is doing a degree in Hotel Management at London University. Currently training in the Novotel in Hammersmith. Has moved to Hounslow. Has kept in contact with Winnier Foo, Nives Ligensa and Vivian Stu.
Klauser, Sarah (87 - 90) is Brand Manager with S.C. Johnson, Racine, USA. She lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Koster, Martin (41 - 45) after a distinguished career as a viola player for among others, Max Jaffa's chart topping Palm Court Orchestra, the LPO and the ECO, had to cease playing because of MS in l982. However after being introduced to yoga ten years ago has now started playing again though at a much lower level. He has started to paint in water colours and acrylic. Though wheel chair bound for the past 20 years he still drives and goes to concerts frequently. He lives with his wife in East Moseley.
Lacey, Clive (70 - 73) was a Bookseller for most of his career and is currently a Librarian. He lives in Hove and is an active member of Amnesty International.
Langan/Gardiner, Alison (77 - 79) has two children and has spent most of her married life following her husband around the world with the RAF. She has worked for a chemical company and for the Royal Navy, but is now in Secondary Education and lives in Bedfordshire.
Larmuth, John (53 - 55) has changed his name to John Norris and is living in Cambridge. He is now semi-retired after a very varied working life which included three years in the RAF (Provost) in Cyprus, some years in the film industry in Ealing Studio shooting 'Z Cars' and 'Two Bits of Iron', and a period on archaeological excavations in Jerusalem. This was followed by a spell of further education at Clare College where he did first, second and third degrees in Zoology and Physics with a doctoral degree on the physical mysteries of the desert surface. He has worked for a well-known Merchant Banking Group, owned a property company and his hobbies now include two cats, creating databases, getting back to Morocco whenever possible, planning to get back to Morocco and thinking about planning to get back to Morocco.
Lau, Josephine (85 - 87) is living in Hong Kong and is in Property Management.
Lavrin, David (44 - 48) is a retired Administrator with the US National Institutes of Health involved in Cancer Research. He has been a naturalised American for many years and lives in Arizona.
Lee, Amy (90 - 95) has graduated from Harvard Business School and Massachusetts Institute of Technology with double majored master degrees and is currently working in New York City as Business Development Division Manager in IT field. She travels a lot but her home is still in Taiwan, Republic of China.
Lees, Charles (76 - 79) is a Lecturer in International Relations and Politics, School of European Studies, University of Sussex. He is living in Brighton.
Lex, Jonathan (82 - 85) qualified with a degree in engineering from Portsmouth and is now a member of the Chartered Institute of Mechanical Engineers. For the last 12 years has worked for the Pall Corporation where he is now the production manager in their Portsmouth factory. Married with two daughters in Bognor Regis. Still in contact with Tim Lloyd (82-85) but would like more contact with other contemporaries.
Lierman, James (49 - 52) started his own company forming plastic sheet in 1971 and retired after 25 years. The company is now prospering and James spends his time indulging his grandchildren and playing golf. He lives in Kent.
Linden, Andrew (84 - 86) is a Sustainable Product Designer Chef living in London.
Lodge/Broderick, Alison (77 - 79) is now Mrs Broderick. She was formerly a Senior Child Care Officer in a School for the Blind and now lives in Starcross, Devon where she is a full-time Mum to an adopted daughter.
Lukins, Ed (79 - 84) partner with top City law firm Simmonds and Simmonds. Specialises in 'e' commerce and mergers and acquisitions.
