Dear Nick:
Thanks for your note. Yes, a contact after 40.5 (I can't do fractions on emails)
must have been a surprise. I never made it to the Lamb & Flag but am
considering going to the OC Dinner at Simpsons if I am in London at the time
(but I may be away on business at end Jan. - which date is it again?).
Do any other mutual acquaintances from 56-61 (55-60 I think for you) go to these
things and if so who? I wouldn't want to meet *** *** again and it's probably
mutual. However I'd love to see people like Andrew Lee, Thomas Bell, Geoffrey
McEwan, other people in my class etc etc.
I went to a Gaudi (reunion) at my college a couple of years back and was
fascinated to see that the people I had disliked, I still disliked (and for the
same reasons) and the people I had got along with well, I still did, even after
30+ years. It's odd to think that one changes so little. This means when (and
if) you're 85 you'll be a 14 year old at heart, which is an odd thought.
I hope this email address is the right one - is it yours or at the school?
Peter Hodgson (56 - 61)
