From Chris Morgan-Gray 1937-1948.
Yes I am the guy who bought the Scad Painting of Old Durweston Mill, and would
like to hear from any O.C's who have any of his paintings for sale (mainly oils,
but I don't think there are many of them about).
I still remember Scad and the joy it was to hear him encouraging anybody with
real talent to try the many styles of painting from Pointillism to Picasso. He
never really criticised, only suggested and helped.
I still sing with the Royal Choral Society, and am now a Liveryman of the
Worshipful Company of Musicians of the City of London. If any body was
interested in trying to gain access to a Livery Company I would be happy to
advise them and in October 2003 I am due to become Master of the Aldersgate Ward
Club.
For the past three years I have been Chairman of the Potters Bar Town Twinning
Association, and spent many happy weekends in our twin towns of Viernheim and
Franconville.
I would be interested in hearing how Mike Gill has got on with farming, or
Jeremy Smith from my Prep School Days,
At 72 I find it pays to keep working and now pay my way as a Self Employed
Consultant in the field of Quality Assurance. That's it.
