Christopher Morgan-Gray
Dear Headmaster,
Thank you for your recent newsletter, (Clayesmore School, making a difference). What a really professional job, and what a difference you and the Governors are making to the old place.
Writing as an Old Clayesmorian, and current member of your brothers choir, I thought you might like to see a copy of an article I wrote this year in the Magazine of the Worshipful Company of Musicians of the City of London as part of their year in praise of the Great Victorians( bottom pages 14115).
The Prep School and school referred to are of course Clayesmore although in those days the prep was at Charlton Marshal under ( Hefty) Everett.
Just in case it is of any interest to see the sort of thing which Clayesmorians got up to in their careers I have also enclosed a copy of my current C.V.
Although I am now retired I am still working at the age of 72, and leading a
very full social life lecturing, doing voluntary consultancy work in education,
and still singing but not at a professional level, all of which I can thank my
education at Clayesmore for.
When and if you have read this I should be obliged if you would forward it to
the person who handles Old Clayesmorian news.
Yours sincerely
Christopher Morgan-Gray (42 - 48)
