1. Minutes of previous AGM. Approved as printed in the newsletter.

2. Report of Hon Sec. I can report that all is ticking over smoothly with the society. Jane Salkeld, our membership secretary who sadly cannot make it to the dinner tonight, thought you might like to know that we total 2524 members; 63 new life members, 14 honorary and a mere 127 school leavers since 1986 choosing not to belong to the society.

Jane has nothing else to declare except her embarrassment at announcing poor Charles Zoephel dead in the newsletter, only to be rung by him a few days later gently protesting that he was very much alive.

The Society organised a number of sports events in the past year; the OC golf match in October which was a huge success, The Cormorants cricket team which enjoyed a successful tour and dinner in the summer. Full reports of these events are in the 2002 Newsletter.

Speaking of which the Newsletter looks as impressive as ever. Our grateful thanks to Nick Zelle for all his hard work. The OC Website under Mark Farrand has continued to thrive, averaging 325 hits per month.

The Lamb and Flag meetings have continued throughout the year. It was felt that we should try four meetings this year instead of the monthly ones that we have been running to try to make them more of an event and attract a bigger crowd. The details of the meetings are published in the back of the newsletter and on the website. I hope some of you will come.

At this point in the meeting Robert Mash, Chairman presented a cup and cheque to Henry Teed thanking him for his decades of hard work as Hon Sec.

3. Report of Hon Treasurer. The funds of the society are in a healthy state and we intend to keep them in that fashion. The accounts are posted on the notice board.

The accounts were approved by M Beacham and seconded by Richard Mitchell.

4. Election of Chairman. David Anderson proposed Robert Mash seconded by Nick Zelle.

5. Election of committee. John Packett proposed the re-election of the committee seconded by Richard Mitchell.

6. Lamb and Flag meetings. The committee proposed that there should be four meetings in 2003 at the Lamb and Flag, Rose Street, London, January 2nd, March 6th, June 5th, September 4th from 6:30 pm onwards.

7. AOB  Nick Zelle proposed that we give notice to the Society of our intention to create a new office, that of Webmaster.

This will be voted at the next AGM.

Hugh Thompson proudly unveiled a new bust of Alex Devine, the school's founder, beautifully cast by Michael Gaskin OC, from the Art Bronze Foundry in London. Hugh Thompson was warmly thanked for his hard work in organising this for the Society.

Nick Zelle spoke of the forthcoming Choral day on Saturday 17th of May to be followed by a Dorset Dinner and cricket match the next day. OCs were invited to bring along their own pictures to make an impromptu exhibition of works of art on that day.

No further business. Meeting closed at 18:52. Dinner called at 1910.
