Old Clayesmorian Society Annual Dinner

Held at Simpson's- in-the-Strand, Saturday 25th January 2003

A turn out slightly on the low side was wowed by the presentation of the life size bronze bust of the school's founder Alex Devine. This was given to the school by the OC's on behalf of Michael Gaskin (48-52).

Andrew Curtis (73-78) spoke well and wittily for the Society and Headmaster Martin Cook remembered it was also Burns night and came up with some extraordinary verses many of which had never been heard in mixed company before!

Special mention must also go to M Shahabi (69-73) who flew in from Los Angeles, Mark Hilt (86-90) who flew (himself) in from Holland, and Peter Klauser (87-91) who flew in from Switzerland, for the occasion.
