OC City Lunch - 2003
Wonderful five star food at French prices, a beautiful well aired room, delightful service and
a magnificent seven sat down at London's Capital Club for the very first OC City
Lunch. Ex head boy and one time Stock broker of the Year Paul Killik was guest of
honour and talked of exciting yields and depressing bonds but also admitted that
his fifteen shops were only doing about 20% of the business they were doing at the market peak three years ago. School governor Stephen
Levinson (lawyer) brought us up to date on the school's continued progress. Also in attendance John
Packet (stock broker), Stephen Dover (media production), Rodney Spokes (travel), Andrew
Beaton (property investment) and
Hugh Thompson (journalist). Apologies were heard from Stuart Henly (abscess)
,Chris Johnston (stuck in Milton Keynes) and Hamish Dow (didn't know where it was!)
We have been encouraged enough to do it again next year. The numbers will always be limited to ten.
