Dear OC Society,
I have just received your e-mail and it reminded me to send you in some
interesting news. My Grandfather, John Goodwin Webster (35 - 45) will be
celebrating his 50th Wedding Anniversary on the 7th November 2003. There will be
a family celebration in Oxfordshire that weekend. He was married to Una (a
teacher) in Africa, where he was working with the Colonial Police. They are now
retired and living on the Algarve.
For my part, I am due to graduate this June from St. Andrews with a degree in
French with Linguistics. I hope to apply for PGCE courses afterwards; I'll keep
you posted! I'm still living in Brunei where my dad's working as a pilot. In the
summer holidays I have been doing part-time teaching work (English and
Geography) at an Islamic Religious School and at the Centre for British
Teachers.
With best wishes,
Michael Phillips (95 - 00)
