Hugh Thompson, Mike Fletcher, and Paul Killick.

Times journalist Hugh Thompson (60-64) recently had lunch with his school contemporary Mike Fletcher, they were also at Keele University together. During the lunch Mike who is now managing director of Johnson Fry Holdings, the top investment group (having sometime previously run a water sports complex in the Seychelles where he met his wife) was talking about the booming and competitive business of private investment. Not least he was bemoaning the fact that Killick & Co were doing so well. He hadn’t realised that senior partner Paul Killick, stockbroker of the year had also been to Clayesmore (62-66) Paul has just opened his tenth shop but has found time to have two children and move well and truly into the Wimbledon stockbroker belt. Paul also hadn’t realised that Fletcher and he once ate the same greens and potatoes at Iwerne.
