Letters - 1999

Dear Mr Grant,
In case this information has not reached you from other sources, you may be interested in the enclosed (obituary).
Donnellan was at Clayesmore about 1937 to 1941. I remember him well. Other things apart, on the touch line at rugger matches he would sometimes use my back as a rest when making notes for his piece in the "Clayesmorian".
Thus began his career as a reporter.
I suppose I must have been the right height!
Yours sincerely,
J. C. Edwards (1933-42)
