Quite a shock to discover a few familiar names among the entries. Some of us
really old boys are still alive and kicking. I have long since retired from many
long years spent in the finance industry latterly spending my days helping to
design computer systems. I could never have foreseen that when I left
Clayesmore. All I wanted to do then was be a journalist. I remember with some
fondness many happy hours spent processing photos in the camera club darkroom
down in the basement next to the boiler room. I'm still camera mad only these
days it’s all digital. I also remember the appalling food in particular a
disgusting milk drink called Milo, which was dispensed every evening by a
formidable lady who we named Venus de Milo. Happy days!
