Mike Wilson (56-60) died in June 2004 after a long and
courageous battle with cancer. He was born in l942 in Ceylon where his father
was Royal Naval Surgeon. At school he spent his spare time helping on one of the
local farms. He was keen on both hockey and shooting.
After school he joined Barkers in Kensigton and shared a flat with Nigel
Dadson(56-60) who now lives in Motueka,S, Island, NZ.
He then moved into the building business where he prospered and spent many years
as area mamager for Crittal Hope in Kuala Lumpar.
In the mid 1960s he met Danielle while on holiday in Bordeaux and they married
in l967.
On returning to the UK he worked for a specialist vehicle manufacturer, Schmidts
and an industrial flooring company.
Although in intensive care for the last two years of his life he insisted on
working until only weeks from the end.
Mike was a genuine, sincere and likeable fellow who is missed by his many
friends and his family, Dannielle, Isabella and Nicholas.
