Iwerne Minster by John Minton

Neville Jason writes -
In addition to my career as an actor I also deal in works of
art, and recently I was excited to find an item I am sure will be of interest to
Clayesmorians' old and new. It is a beautiful poster issued by the Post Office
in the 1950s showing an enchanting view of Iwerne Minster by the painter John
Minton, one of the key figures in British art at that time.
I dare say the view may have changed considerably since I was at Clayesmore in
the 50s, but it is exactly as I remember it, looking down on the village from
Iwerne Hill.
It is priced at £600, but £550 to any OC. It can be seen here in Camden
Town, North West London. Anyone interested please ring me on 0207 267 4835 or
e-mail neville@nevillejason.com
Greetings to anyone who remembers me at Clayesmore from 1946 to 1952.
My name was then Neville Jacobson.
Yours,
Neville
