OC Millennium Day at Clayesmore

SORRY - EVENT CANCELLED
Dear OC's,
It is with very great regret that for reasons ' beyond our control' we have very
reluctantly just decided to call off the OC Millennium Dorset Dinner, Choral Day,
Scadding Exhibition, and Classic Car Gathering. There were a large number of OCs
coming from all over the country and as it will probably be days before 'Cookmans
and Hawkins' and other garages in the Iwerne area see a fuel tanker, it seemed our
only option. It is very sad that after 18 months planning and hours of work by many
OCs and considerable expense of finite Society funds (2000 envelopes for a start) that
we have had to do this - "all part of the rich tapestry......"as our chairman would say!
Martin Cook, the new headmaster is also very disappointed and is trying hard to offer
us an alternative date.
